GUESS.
GUESS.
GUESS.
GUESS.
Okay well I guess you won't guess what happened because I guess a million things happened yesterday so I guess what you guessed would not be what I assumed you guessed so let's stop guessing I guess.
(I'm sorry.)
ANYWAY while I was washing my clothes yesterday, I dropped the entire container of washing powder into the freshly washed and rinsed clothes. Where is my applause.
So, I had to re-wash and rinse every single god-damned article of clothing in sheer disbelief. Oddly enough, I was really optimistic despite crying/laughing at the same time at this ridiculous situation. I thought to myself "maybe this is the superior being's way of saying that my clothes are still dirty. Hence She toppled the entire container over my clothes." Now thinking about its quite absurd how positive I was about the entire situation HAHAHAH
So I literally didn't know anyone that was going to the Yunnan trip personally :< It made me rather jittery and nervous the night before because- let's face it- no matter how independent I am, it never feels good to be ostracised and friend-less u_u But when I reached the airport in the morning I had on my standard Hi-I'm-A-Bitch-So-Don't-Speak-to-Me-or-I'll-Cut-You face. Hmm honestly I really didn't care anymore I just wanted to hurry up into the plane to get some sleep T_T
But I became friendly and smiled to a few of the girls so they just allowed me into their clique hahah *win*
Honestly though Shirlene Sinyen and Yuqi are really nice people. Sandrina and Fang Fang too, but I felt like they wont't be the type of friends that will "click" with me. That's why I didn't interact much with them (regrettable, obviously) u_u
Oh my uncle and mom drove me to the airport because daddy was overseas at shanghai that day :< My uncle is super duper freaking awesome nice though. He woke up so damn early just to bring me to the airport T_T Forever grateful. He has always doted on me since I was a child hmm but I'm still really thankful for the things he do for me. (Unlike the relatives on my paternal side of the family who won't ever give a shit even if I died. TWO FACED WHORES.)
At Changi Airport. How's my photography skill :b
Anyways I did not edit any of the photos I'm gonna post because ain't nobody got time fo' dat.
Yes I got the window seat :D How lucky is this?
Oh speaking about luck, the ultimate irony was that I was thinking about how lady luck is always by my side no matter how trivial or important the situation is to me. The exact next second, I dropped the entire washing powder into my freshly washed clothes T__T
-end digression-
Clouds so fluffy I can die
Sitting beside me was Josh. Jingjie was at the aisle seat so I didn't really get to speak to him much, except receiving really wide-eyed stares from him O_O
It was rather pleasant speaking to Josh, but I couldn't help but feel that despite me "getting" the things that he says (his choice of expressions in language etc), I will never truly understand him as a whole. I guess everyone is like that but his vibes were stronger. I could sense a fortress surrounding his mind. Other than that, he is a really nice and easy to talk to person n_n
I took many mini naps and pretty much read, slept, woke up, read, slept, ate horrible (ok only the eggs were nice) airplane food, read some more, slept, woke up, slept, whined when the plane finally landed.
And apparently, I hardy took any photos of the food.... A bit of a pity though. But their food is really similar to the usual chinese dishes that I eat at home :0 Only more oily and slightly saltier for some dishes (exceptions are the ?smoked? ham with radish. That dish tasted like a literal tablespoon of table salt.). Oh and they always serve tasteless vegetable soup. I have no idea why though. To counter the saltiness of the other dishes maybe?
The first place we visited was the Stone Forest (石林)! I couldn't get enough of the insanely blue sky with its lovely gradation... So the next few (maybe thousand) photos will be of the sky n_n"
Honestly, though, the scenery was lovely. I've always scorned at scenery... Because how nice can they be? But then mother nature does some really lovely things to this land, and it's beautiful. (Albeit the disgusting smoking all the china men do ruin every single experience. Because with such clear skies that seem to promise fresh air, IT'S NOT HAPPENING. :< was really quite annoyed by all the fumes of the cigars that plagued every inch of this city)
Look at how blue that sky is *_*
With Shirlene, Sinyen and Yuqi :D
They were really nice to me :0 But I felt like I had invaded a private party u_u They tried to include me in many uh camwhoring activities which made me feel more at ease I reckon.
Ah then we sat on some vehicle to get to our next stop in the bigass land where the stone forest is supposedly located! It was super fun as wind was all over in our faces and laughter echoed in my ears when our cameras were at a risk of being whisked away by the wind. It was also FRIGGIN' c o l d
The air in the wind was cold, dry and stinging. Not a lovely combination T_T
But I bet my skin was the only skin that survived this coldass dryass trip because it's so darn oily oops
Entrance of the stone forest I think
Aren't the fiery flowers pretty!
Stones, just stones everywhere.
If I remembered correctly, this area was once an ocean floor. When the land rose, the interesting rock formations caught the eye of humans and thus they decided to turn this place into a money milking area, where they point out random rocks that seem like something else (personification, in a sense? :0). Then they take your money and run. (what a crude description hahahah)
Do you spot the lovers?
China men and their cigars everywhere T_T My poor lungs have turned black from all the second hand smoke I had no choice but to breathe in T__T
It was really quite scary though because at one part of the tour, we suddenly entered this place where it was FLOODED with people. And people were either
a) shoving each other
b) walking at a pace slower than a snail
c) harassing tourists to take a photo
HOW ANNOYING I JUST WANT TO LOOK AT THESE ROCKS AND ACHIEVE INNER PEACE HOW DIFFICULT CAN THAT BE.
I wonder how they carve those blood red words on the walls of the rocks. Where do they get a chair that high?! Or maybe they got a mutated giraffe to carry them up. *sings Anything Could Happen*
A piece of rock that almost tumbled down due to an earthquake. Apparently if a baddie were to walk underneath this, the rock will tumble onto his head hhaha
I love the random tales they have for every single rock that looks something remotely interesting.
I'm quite a bad pano taker ._.
Basically.... More scenery.
Don't ask me why I took a photo of stagnant water within rocks. I dont know either.
Oh throughout the entire time we were manoeuvring through skinny openings, I couldn't help but wonder how do the obese go through. Even I almost couldn't get through some of the openings........
But uh the obese dont exercise so they dont walk and wont come here so.... n_n"
The only thing I remember was Brandon bending down to take a shot of some rock I had zero interest in. I was more interested in why he was so interested in the rock LOL
Trees were exceptionally pretty. I like how autumn looks like.
We then climbed ALL the way up to get a bird's eye view of the stone forest! It was so tiring I almost died T_T So weak, yes I know. But I spend way to much time one my butt so you can't blame me.
The mewing kitty everyone was disarmed by
Shirlene said this is a tumblr worthy sky
That guy in the middle is our tour guide hahah
He doesn't command attention, but he tries.
He doesn't have the best leader like feel, but he tries to take care of all of us.
His patience is CRAZY.
I feel quite bad for him though... Because most of us weren't listening. He's really learned :0
A photo that failed to send to the guitar group hahahhah
Ok it's really late now and I will probably continue the next time I'm less uncomfortable (you should see how im typing now wtf) and have more stupid jokes/ things to say
