Anyways I just checked the number of views this blog has had for the previous month... and there were 563 blog views wao wat. So far only 5 people I know of read my blog LOL so I assume that the five of them refresh my blog daily HAHA okay just kidding thank you for taking your time to read my posts. I hope they made you smile and even if you hate me I hope you at least smiled at my stupidity kthxbye it's getting emotional LET'S CONTINUE.
-I have to say that I probably forgot most of the happenings by now so the only indicators of memory are the photos-
okay firstly I have to say that I do not know what this place is.
But if memory serves me right then I think this place was a pit stop while on the way to Yu Long Xue Shan. I'm still in love with oriental architecture *__*
The bluest and clearest skies
Converse party! Yuqi had on her boots so her blue converse isn't in here.
Shirlene's face is always the same lol I am in awe.
We arrived at Yu Long snow mountain!
Apparently lovers who cannot be together would commit suicide here together... They believe that in the afterlife, days would be lovely and they would not be separated anymore. But that's freaking stupid. If i could elope with the one I love, WHY WOULD I KILL MYSELF. I would want to spend every living second with that person. Then maybe die when we're old and mouldy. WHAT A WASTE OF YOUTH oh gosh. At least run far far away so your parents won't find you!!!
The most haunted place in the world I assume. Tons of lovers died here together oh god.
Also can I mention that my skin whilst in Yunnan was SUPERB. The air was dry and cold, yes, but this is exactly the reason why my normally-super-oily-skin was flawless lololol. Now its a ratchet mess T_T I'm sobbing everyday.
TONS OF PEOPLE WAITING TO BOARD THE CABLE CAR UP THE MOUNTAINS. It was insane. The tour guide kept asking us to stick close together so that the China peeps wont manage to squeeze their butts into our queue. It was honestly the most stressful queue I have ever been in my life.
I don't have a beanie like they do T_T But no worries my bowl like bangs kept my head warm lol
When we finally reached, we were greeted by a mass of forestry. And a very long trail to walk on.
I think all scenery looks the same to me now. Pls gimme something new to see other than greying branches against an admittedly, very lovely blue sky.
Then we saw all these wooden plates!! It reminded me of the Pont des Arts in France (I think???) where lovers would buy a padlock and lock it on the bridge to signify their everlasting love and to have their wishes come true. So here tourists, alike, would write their wishes on a wooden plate and then tie them to any surface capable to holding a knot. I think its really sweet, reading some of the wishes. Most of them didn't wish for anything selfish or greedy (in my opinion) as they wished for peace and happiness in their family and all over the world. I hardly saw any MAKE ME RICH wishes, which was quite nice.
I swear, this wind breaker saved my life so many times... If not I would have been a very cold ice pop wtf.
By this time idk what crazy ass mood I was in because I refused to continue standing in a damn area where the exhaust of a ?heater????? was piling up right in front of my face. The others wanted to stand there to wait so I was like wtf??? isn't it stinky? They were complaining that it was stinky but refused to move. I didn't geddit. So I walked away and read all the wishes I could read on those wooden plates.
I think the girls were like wtf when I walked away hahah because I broke the social conformity of sticking with a clique.
Someone pls tell me is this an alpaca or llama omg I want. It seems to be forever smiling with its upturned mouth oh gosh so precious!!!
Very fail pano.
After this we moved on to... Idk where this place is but the itinerary says its the Lan Yue Gu area. hmm.
The water was clear and lovely and beautiful and I wonder if its portable.
After this we went to watch Impression Lijiang and it was very dramatic and beautiful. But I can't help but feel like the spreading of culture has to be reduced to such means... They dumbed down everything by 200% and added fanciful gestures and basically everything else shallow to capture attention.
I just feel like if we weren't so westernised, people would actually have the interest to learn about the culture of minority groups in detail and properly, instead of settling for watching a grand beautiful mess like this. By either way, this performance was spectacular n_n
But if I recall, this was the place where we visited the silk painters!!! (or whatever it is). Basically they sew silk onto clothes and make really realistic images out of them. I was awed but apparently no photos were allowed. The silk embroidery was extremely beautiful and fine. I wish I could have bought all of them but... $$$$$$$
and its late now and im sleepy good night thank you for reading ilyxoxoxoxoxo (u know who u are hahah)
